Kinopolis Main Taunus Center | Kinoton installs two Dolby ATMOS system
The German Kinopolis chain has equipped two of their larger screens at the Main-Taunus-Zentrum complex in Sulzbach near Frankfurt with Dolby Atmos. Kinoton took care of this modernization as a turn-key supplier with responsibility for planning coordination and of course the supply of two new ATMOS system. Kinopolis is thus setting new standards for the presentation quality at one of their most successful complexes.
Kinoton carefully planned, supplied and installed two powerful ATMOS systems, specially configured for the complicated architectural situation of this older multiplex and two fully networked audio systems based on the Q-SYS technology of QSC. Q-SYS technology is one of the world's most powerful software-based DSP solutions for audio, video and system control.
As the general contractor, Kinoton was responsible for all trades involved in the complete integration of the ATMOS sound system, including planning and conception, electrical works, interior design/equipment, drywall, ceiling construction, scaffolding, as well as supervision and documentation.
