4K outdoor projection solution for pop-up drive-in cinema in Munich
With the Film festival Munich 2020 being cancelled due to the Covid pandemic, a new approach was taken and the Film festival Munich Popup took place on the grounds of the Zenith venue. The organisers Junique Productions from Berlin, managed successfully the screenings of numerous previously unreleased films on the premises of the Pop-up Autokino Munich until the end of August 2020 – and, despite the restrictions posed by the pandemic, this was accompanied by spirited premiere parties.
For the ultimate outdoor experience, Kinoton supplied and installed a mobile high-brightness 4K projection solution for brilliant images as well as the FM broadcasting system for processing and transmitting the sound in high quality via the car radio.
Kinoton also supplied the special rigid outdoor screen with an impressive size of 130sqm.
