The Kinoton Theatre Management System (TMS) is a networked, cinema-wide system for centrally managing and operating equipment such as projectors and servers in multiple projection rooms. By centrally harnessing all D-Cinema routines like ingesting new DCPs, entering KDM keys and assembling, editing, and scheduling shows, the Kinoton TMS taps the full work and cost saving potential of digital cinema.
The Kinoton TMS already includes a highly fail-safe disk storage with six terabytes of memory capacity which can be extended almost without limit by adding more library units with 10 TB each.
If you want to assemble a new show, the Kinoton TMS lets you access all DCPs and playlists of any server in the theatre, and the content stored in the central library. The TMS automatically transfers your new playlist, along with all of the required DCPs, KDMs, etc., to the selected screen server, and you can start the show from anywhere in the network.
Optional modules, e.g. for individual advertising or for interfacing the Theatre Management System with the ticketing system, make sure the Kinoton TMS covers all bases.
