Digital Cinema for Technicians: Basics and Installation

Seminar targets:
This seminar is specifically designed for cinema technicians with professional experience in classical film technology. The course introduces the attendees to the basics and technologies of various devices and components of a 2D / 3D Digital Cinema System, especially of the DCP projector series. It sets a focus on imparting the complete skills necessary for installation and the first start-up, e.g. screen alignment, macro programming, etc. It also discusses in detail the maintenance and servicing incl. the realization of updates as well as fault detection. DCP projectors are available for hands-on practicing of the newly acquired knowledge.
