One of the most prestigious cinemas in Athens, Cine Danaos, has added to its high-quality projection equipment by installing a Kinoton DCS Digital Cinema Solution in its large, 600-seat auditorium.

At the PRIME symposium, Kinoton presented the results of its development work. Among other things, Kinoton has succeeded in improving the illumination system of 3D projection solutions.

The newly opened Cinema of the Indiana University features high-end Kinoton film projection for 35mm and 16mm.

Kinoton combines a 35mm spool tower and a pedestal for D-Cinema projectors into a space-saving customized solution for the 2011 International Film Festival in Berlin.

A concentrating solar simulator providing over 45,000 watts of light power was recently installed in a new indoor test facility of the University of Minnesota’s Solar Energy Lab.
